Instructions for Setting up Outlook 2003 to Send and Receive Email.



You need to be connected to myOsseo.com to add mail.

1. If you have not done so yet, you will need to add an Email account by clicking on the Create Account under the Create A myOsseo.com Email Account to the left.

2. Open Microsoft Outlook.

3. From the Tools menu, choose E-Mail Accounts.




4. Select Add a new e-mail account, click the Next button.




5. Select POP3, click the Next button.




6. In the Your Name field, type your full name. (e.g., Jane Doe), in the E-mail Address field, type your Username followed by myosseo.com (e.g., jdoe@myosseo.com), in the Incoming mail server (POP3) field, type mail.myosseo.com, in the Outgoing mail server (SMTP) field, type mail.myosseo.com, click on the More Settings....




7. Click the Outgoing server tab then select My outgoing server (SMTP) requires requires authentication then Log on Using in the User Name use your username to be followed by myosseo.com. Example the username is jdoe the login should be jdoe@myosseo.com then enter in your password.




8. Click the OK then Next > then Finish to close.
